Man arrested after shots fired in east El Paso faces assault, gun & drug charges

UPDATE, Oct. 24: Police on Sunday identified the man arrested after shots were fired at an east El Paso apartment complex as 26-year-old Josue Emilio Acosta.

In addition to being charged with felony counts of illegal gun possession, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and family violence assault, authorities have also charged him with multiple drug offenses.
