Man who led police on chase in carjacked vehicle ending with I-10 gunfire is identified

UPDATE, Dec. 3: The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office on Friday identified the suspect killed in an exchange of gunfire with Socorro police as 27-year-old Aaron Salazar.

No further information was released as deputies said the investigation into Wednesday's chase and shooting was ongoing.
